Sr. System Administrator / Plant IT Support Engineer , you will be responsible for:



Your role:

• Documenting, designing, deploying and maintaining a Linux web and database server environment and developing disaster recovery process.


• Documenting and maintaining the facilities local wireless and wired network including wireless routers, switches, and firewalls.


• Managing user endpoint devices including configuration, deployment, and providing end user support.


• Coordinating with Siemens Information Security to run continuous vulnerability scans of the local area network and connected devices.


• Working with Engineering and Operations staff to design and implement software and hardware solutions as needed.

Your expertise:

• Linux System Administration (Installation, Configuration, Maintenance)


• Network Administration


• Configuration and Deployment of User Endpoint Devices


• Cyber Security


• Web Development(PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript)


• Virtualization (VMWare, KVM)

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Demonstrated extensive technical knowledge in linux and network system administration.


• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or similar relevant degree with 2-3 years work experience in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:



• 5 - 7 years work experience in a related field
