Administrative Coordinator



The Administrative Coordinator in the College in High School (CHS) program is responsible for administering policies and procedures for student registration, payment, grading, and teacher visits. Coordinates a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining calendars, taking meeting minutes, providing administrative and general office support, and facilities/Maintenance requests. Handles travel and expense reimbursements. Purchases office supplies and materials needed for the programs. Works closely with the Division Finance Team to ensure that expenses are tracked appropriately and meet requirements of University and Dietrich School policy.


Job Summary

Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.


Essential Functions
  • Assists department head and staff members with administrative tasks and student services support.
  • Coordinates teaching schedules and other faculty and student services.
  • Manages department or division personnel activities to meet University and department objectives.
  • Oversees the work of designated employees reviewing completed work for adherence to instructions or correctness.
  • Orders and maintains sufficient inventory of office supplies and equipment.

Physical Effort

Primarily sedentary; must have the ability to attend designated events as a representative of the University; must have the ability to lift and carry work related items such as a laptop and meeting supplies.
