Position: Software Engineer III



Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086



Duties: Works on developing, debugging, and maintaining the next level Ad Products that serves on iOS Walmart platform, especially for the sponsored products advertisements. Creates and pursues the ads related task tickets using the Jira tool and collaborates with major cross-platform for the execution as a team, or independently when needed. Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, business, and user experience teams and translating the requirements to technical solutions, researching and identifies the alternative solutions. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing the expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. Write and develop the code to display various kind of ads on different pages at relevant locations. Conducts unit testing and ensures the relevant metrics are being captured upon displaying and clicking of the ads. Collaborates with project team and cross functional team. Identifies areas of opportunity. Interprets information and identify the solution and ensures the solution is sustainable across implementation and use. Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information. Performs root cause analysis to reduce future issues, engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues, developing solutions. Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, and ensure on-time delivery.



Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.



Skills required: Experience coding using an Apple programming language Swift for iOS ecosystem. Experience using XCode IDE to design, develop, test, and debug the iOS application. Experience in iOS Application Architecture MVVM-C. Experience in iOS Networking, Concurrency (GCD), Integration of back-end services, Data modeling for Client-Server communication. Experience in designing and developing UI(UX) using UIKit. Experience using Git for Version Control. Experience using Jira for managing and tracking the task in Agile methodology. Experience in monitoring, maintaining, measuring, and debugging the performance of an iOS Application using Firebase, Crashlytics, Instruments. Experience implementing the third-party frameworks and dependency manager for an iOS Application. Experience in adding Logger system for iOS. Experience adding Unit and (UI) Functional test cases for iOS Application. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $182,073/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
