Position: Senior Data Analyst



Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086



Duties: Generate insights from distributed datasets using advanced SQL (in Hive and Presto) for slicing, dicing, and aggregating large data. Conduct in-depth analysis using statistical data mining of large datasets in R and Scikit-learn. Design and implement analytics pipelines with coding and scripting using languages such as Python or R. Build Business Intelligence reports to showcase insights and patterns using frameworks such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI and web charting libraries such as D3. Build data models in Cloud Technologies such as Azure and GCP for data analysis. Design methodologies to evaluate and benchmark machine learning models and create automated pipelines to measure them. Generate insights and execute experimentation based on hypothesis testing, A/B testing, segmentation, churn analysis, repeat purchase, and market basket using Python and R. Maintain code repository and CI/CD frameworks for reporting and analytics frameworks. Design business KPIs to measure the success of business initiatives and determine areas of opportunity in business initiatives and engineering systems.



Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance or related field and 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field; OR Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering (any), Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance or related field.



Skills required: Experience with advanced SQL for slicing, dicing, and aggregating distributed datasets to generate insights using MSSQL or Oracle. Experience with statistical data mining to conduct in depth analysis of large datasets in R and Scikit-learn. Experience with coding and scripting using Python or R. Experience building Business Intelligence reports using Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI. Experience with D3. Experience with Apache Hive or Google BigQuery. Experience with one of the following Cloud Technologies: Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience evaluating and benchmarking machine learning models. Experience with hypothesis testing, A/B testing, segmentation, churn analysis, repeat purchase, and market basket using Python or R. Experience with GitHUB for code repository maintenance and CI/CD frameworks for reporting and analytics frameworks. Experience designing business KPIs to measure the success of business initiatives and determine areas of opportunity in business initiatives and engineering systems. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $138,911/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
