Position: Senior Product Manager



Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066



Duties: Define vision and strategies for product family, use domain expertise, internal and external best practices; identify market opportunities, build business cases, and approve objectives. Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in retail industry and identify new opportunities. Translate opportunities onto e-commerce and omni-commerce strategies using an understanding of the technology industry to manage products across channels and platforms. Drive product lifecycle from requirement definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications for front-end and algorithm development, A/B testing to verify hypothesis and strategies to deploy, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other launch efforts. Develop and enhance products. Manage product roadmaps using techniques such as the RICE Model, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks. Work closely with back-end and front-end engineers, data scientists, and user experience researchers and designers. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap. Build collaborative relationships with key business partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. This position does not supervise employees.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in product management or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of experience in product management or related field.



Skills required: Experience developing products and systems. Experience creating and conducting psychological research, including in-person interviews and online surveys, and analyzing the results to identify customer needs and wants using Qualtrics and MTurk. Experience analyzing market trends and the competitive landscape within the technology industry to determine business opportunities. Experience in corporate retail to understand directional growth opportunities. Experience using Design Thinking to build strategic business cases that generate positive Returns on Investment (ROI) or to develop new revenue streams. Experience defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on shared dashboards to monitor and improve the functionality of a project. Experience analyzing large volumes of data and improving operational performance using Tableau, Excel Macros, and Excel Solver. Experience applying the following techniques and tools to ensure timeline delivery of features and to mitigate risks: Agile Methodologies, Microsoft Project, and hypothesis testing. Experience leading cross-functional teams to launch new products and/or operational systems. Experience training employees and tracking their engagement to identify workplace enhancement opportunities. Experience driving collaborative relationships externally and presenting the product vision and project progress to executive leadership internally. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $157,636/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
