Job Description:

Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of the market location. Duties include hiring staff, staff training process, building relationships with customers, creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets of the market location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Works with the Market President and Chief Operations Officer to efficiently and effectively manage market operations and profitability of the assigned market location.

  • Supervises the Assistant Branch Manager and has oversight on the performance and training of the Client Services staff.

  • Manage daily operations, especially customer service and finance activities.

  • Responsible for building relationships with current and future customers along with representing the market location within the community.

  • Trains and coaches staff on cross selling additional bank products and services.

  • Oversees opening and closing of the bank, maintains and works with team members to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for bank in internal controls including logs, policies, and procedures.

  • Processes client services work as needed, opens new accounts, handles customer problems timely and with professionalism.

  • Identify opportunities to sell consumer loans. Accept consumer loan applications and facilitate loan closings.

  • Other duties as assigned

Education And/Or Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of Teller/Client Services experience required

  • One (1) to (3) years of supervisory experience required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skiss

  • Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure of deadlines

  • All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background, credit, and drug screening

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Sitting for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

The working conditions are generally comfortable with minimal exposure to noise, heat, dust and other related items. All employees are required to maintain a neat and safe work area.
