As a Director of Programmatic, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and directing our programmatic buying team. This team includes Associate Directors, Managers, and a group of new and experienced programmatic specialists who execute campaigns across multiple channels, platforms, and devices, including video, mobile, social, display, and native advertising. Your leadership will extend to cross-departmental work streams, collaborating with Strategy, Planning, Direct Investment, and Analytics to ensure best-in-class execution and exceptional service to our clients. Additionally, you will contribute to practice-level thought leadership and oversee higher-level programmatic deliverables such as SWOT analyses, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), POVs (Points of View), and account-level programmatic roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities



  • Programmatic Leadership:


    • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to Associate Directors, Managers, and junior staff within the programmatic team.

    • Collaborate closely with the Data Science and Analytics team to develop measurement plans for tactical recommendations.



  • Knowledge Expansion and Enhancement:


    • Continuously expand our knowledge base and enhance our Programmatic offerings.

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.



  • Account-Level Roadmap Creation:


    • Lead the creation of account-level programmatic roadmaps in close coordination with the Data Science teams.

    • Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and client needs.



  • Client and Brand Engagement:


    • Partner with our client and agency brand teams to drive their understanding of programmatic.

    • Advocate for the advantages of programmatic and demonstrate our capabilities.

    • Integrate programmatic strategies into holistic measurement plans that align optimizable media and brand metrics.



  • Standard Methodologies:


    • Develop, apply, and share standard methodologies for desk operations, communications, and campaign management across departments.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Advertising, Business).

  • Proven experience in programmatic advertising, including team leadership and strategic planning.

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
