Job Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid with 3 days a week onsite in Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC, or Dallas, TX (non-negotiable)

Summary:



This role is essential to digital transformation, focusing on cloud control validation and evidence gathering process re-engineering to support our enterprise cloud migration. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating and implementing validation Playbooks to improve consistency and efficiency in our validation processes.



Responsibilities:

• Evaluate cloud application workload, platform, and service implementations for adherence to the Cloud Control Framework (CCF)


• Collect evidence of control adherence for cloud platforms and services


• Collaborate with development teams and platform architects to validate workloads pre and post-production


• Lead the creation of Playbooks for cloud control validation and evidence gathering


• Work with team members to detail and integrate specifics into Playbooks


• Assess current processes, recommend and implement improvements to enhance consistency, quality, and security


• Guide the use of Playbooks for automating cloud control validation and evidence gathering processes

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Information/Cybersecurity


• 2+ years of advanced experience with public cloud computing/hosting, especially in Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud


• Strong skills in technical writing, process mapping, and process re-engineering


• Deep understanding of cloud technology and security concepts


• Ability to apply industry and government standards like NIST, CIS, CSA to practical requirements


• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Cloud implementation/migration control validation


• Cloud auditing experience


• Certifications in Cloud, Risk, and/or Cybersecurity (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK).


• Cloud-specific certifications (Azure, Google, AWS)


• Knowledge of security threats, trends, and best practices


• Experience in the financial sector or other regulated industries
