Job Summary

• Performs microscopic examinations


• Provides final interpretations of normal gynecological specimens


• Provides initial interpretations of non-gynecological, FNA and abnormal gynecological specimens using standardized procedures


• Assists in the collection and preparation of FNA and biopsy specimens for immediate evaluation


• Understs method principles


• Performs quality control and quality assurance activities


• Evaluates results based on patient demographics and history


• Works independently


• Organizes work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.

• 4 year/Bachelor's Degree

• ASCP Eligible
