This position will report to regional leadership and provide integral support to Cushman & Wakefield's occupier brokerage professionals and corporate clients. The main responsibility will be to provide strategic review and negotiation support of commercial real estate agreements for various product types including office, industrial, retail, healthcare and mixed-use facilities and portfolios. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Review, edit and provide initial redlines and commentary of lease-related documents including, but not limited to leases, amendments, RFPs, LOIs and contracts
Provide brokers and clients with interpretation and explanation of parties' rights and obligations with respect to certain business terms
Oversee all documentation, including proposal comparisons and redlines while maintaining version control
Work alongside internal C&W brokerage professionals and external client counsel and real estate decision makers by providing negotiation support to foster efficiency and minimize risk within agreements
Provide insight into market terminology, provisions and lease standards
Create and maintain database of industry standards
Develop and implement client critical document guidelines and best practices
Market lease review services and expertise to internal stakeholders to build and maintain trust and demonstrate value-add
Background & Experience
Bachelors and Juris Doctorate degrees required
Minimum of five years of experience working with commercial real estate agreements
Self-starter and ability to work autonomously while building out an entirely new service delivery
Strong written and oral communication and negotiation skills
High level of customer service acumen - both internally and externally
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated aptitude to solve problems and navigate challenging situations
