The Office of Licensing & Trademarks serves Indiana University by promoting and protecting its name, marks, colors, and identifiable properties on all nine campuses across the state. Royalty revenue generated from the sale of licensed products supports student scholarships. The office is charged with promoting IU licensed products, ensuring trademark agreement compliance, and protecting the IU Brand from trademark infringement.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Communicates with IU vendors.
Catalogs product samples.
Organizes inventory.
Assists with social media accounts.
Locates specimens for trademark registrations and reports trademark violations, artwork review.
Collects and processes of royalty statements.
Invoices royalty payments.
Collects and processes liability insurance certificates.
Enters data for new contract set-up.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.

Passion for the IU Brand
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Experience in social media, marketing and/or business analytics is a plus
Working Conditions / Demands
This position works in an office setting. Parking is available on site.
Additional Information
Up to 15 hours per week during the hours Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM The schedule during this time can be flexible to meet the needs of a student or other employee
