for an opportunity at Hybrid and 2-3 days onsite Seattle, Washington location preferred!




Position Title:
UX Designer 3




Location: Hybrid and 2-3 days onsite Seattle, Washington location preferred




Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 02 Months and possibility of extension.



Job Type: Contract and Hybrid/Onsite



Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr.


Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Top Skills:





  • Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.


  • Degrees or certifications required: Industry design / experience in design preferred. Flexible on degree - if the candidate is already a designer with experience, academic experience does not matter as much.


  • UX Design Experience (5+ YOE)


  • Journey mapping Experience (5+ YOE)


  • Evaluate Information Architecture Experience (5+ YOE)





  • Job Description:




    Summary:



    The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.



    Job Responsibilities:





    • Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problem/goals.

    • Analyses user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

    • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.

    • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

    • Analyses information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.




    Skills:





    • Experience in software design and development.

    • Experience in professional UI development.

    • Experience with data-driven UI development.

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.




    Education/Experience:





    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

    • 5-7 years' experience required.
