Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Minneapolis, MN that is seeking an API Developer.

Summary:
This company is looking to leverage API integrations between 4-5 systems to more closely tie data together, and reduce redundant data entry and maintenance. They would either like to find a temporary API Developer to assist the Enterprise Procurement Analytics and Systems team, or engage a firm already performing similar work in a loosely defined scope of work for a similar resource that could flexibly define activities as development priorities change. Expected duration of assignment is 3-6 months.

In scope systems include:

• Workday Financials/HCM


• Workday Strategic Sourcing (formerly ScoutRFP)


• Globality (sourcing event platform)


• Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management via the Workato Integration platform


• PowerBI

Responsibilities:

• Leveraging webhooks from Globality to populate supplier and event information from a Globality sourcing event into Workday Strategic Sourcing project tracking


• Leveraging multiple API connections to query existing vendor datasets in multiple systems, and if necessary, create vendors in Workday Strategic sourcing from vendor record in Agiloft

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5+ years of experience working with OpenAPI specifications; Substantial work experience as an API Developer


• Ideally, 1-2 years experience working with the Workato Integration platform, especially non-packaged integrations


• Strong knowledge of RESTful design principles


• Self-motivated, willing to dive into specifications and explore alternative solutions


• Ability to communicate easily with a range of stakeholders, with varying degrees of technical understanding


• Experience working with procurement or financial datasets would be a significant plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
