Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client is looking to add a Proposal Manager to their team for a nine-month assignment. This role can be performed 100% remotely. This is a nine month contract assignment.

Summary:
As a Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process by overseeing the creation and submission of business proposals. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that proposals are compelling, compliant, and aligned with both client needs and our company's offerings. If you have a strong background in sales or marketing, excellent project management skills, and a knack for persuasive writing, we'd love to have you on our team.

Proposal Process Ownership:


  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end proposal process for sales, including production and timely submission

  • Develop a proposal plan based on client requirements and deadlines, setting various milestones

  • Lead meetings and reviews to ensure all proposal deadlines are met

Proposal Content and Structure:

  • Direct the creation and review of a comprehensive proposal outline

  • Use the outline as a key document design and control medium to ensure all subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholder teams provide the necessary information

  • Draft, edit, and rewrite proposal content to meet submission and award requirements

Pricing and Legal Compliance:

  • Ensure pricing is approved and undergoes legal review before securing executive approval signature(s)







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 7 years of Proposal Manager experience

  • Ability to work within stringent deadlines

  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills; Highly collaborative

  • Strong management and communication skills to keep team members aligned at every stage of proposal development

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Salesforce






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
