TrueCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center, with over 50 years of serving the underserved populations in North County San Diego and Riverside, is looking for a Director of Grants to join
our growing team!!
Location: San Marcos Corporate offices
Schedule: M-F 8:am to 5:00 pm

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Growth, the Director of Grants of TrueCare is responsible for ensuring effective leadership and oversight of the organization’s grants portfolio. The Director of Grants will support the development of value-creating opportunities and be accountable to identifying, developing, submitting, and progress reporting of high-quality proposals that support organizational strategic objectives from funding sources including, but not limited to, government, nonprofit, foundations, and for-profit funding opportunities. The Director of Grants will oversee the grants team and is responsible for ensuring overall administration of grant deliverables and compliance with grant regulations to optimally position TrueCare for strategic growth.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare.
• Minimum of six (6) years of grant writing or grant management experience, preferably in a FQHC or nonprofit health context.
• Three (3) years of experience supervising or managing teams.
• Experience with federal, state, and county grant acquisition and management.
• Proven record of leading successful execution of grants management, grant writing, reporting, and analysis.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Certificate in Grant Writing preferred.
• Will be required to travel between all TrueCare locations; therefore, a California Driver’s License, proof of valid insurance, and clean driving record are required.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
