Overview
Bluebird Turf, a recently added division of Metalcraft of Mayville, specializes in personal lawn care equipment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Parts Picker is primarily responsible for assisting in customer service orders for shipping. The Picker will partner with the Customer Service Department and assist with pulling service parts, package all items, and ship to proper customers. The Picker may be required to record and tarck all requests and shipments. Bluebird Turf operates Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm. Our starting hourly wage is $18.00/hour, and this position qualifies for a competitive benefit package.
Responsibilities
Picking orders as requested by customers and/or management
Sealing and tagging shipments, confirming accuracy of orders, and signing pick tickets to confirm
Ensure correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area
Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations
Assist with keeping work areas clean, neat and well-organized
Update records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items on shop floor as necessary
Reports all major or unresolved customer service requests
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
1+ Year of work experience in a similar role
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Exposure to a fast paced lean manufacturing environment
Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments
Basic computer skills
Previous experience working within a highly technical enviornment
