Summary

Provides on-site preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modification and installation of equipment with medium to highly complex for national and international customers. Integrates equipment with customer and/or third-party vendors as needed. Maintains equipment documentation for internal assembly, testing, set-up and troubleshooting. Provides start-up service and customer training during installations.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoot, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and system components at Customer locations

• Integrates equipment with customer and/or third-party vendor equipment, as needed

• Conducts after-sales technical support and machine maintenance training to customers

• Performs preventative maintenance on Customer equipment as required

• Completes documentation related to the status of the machine issues, repairs, and/or installations to ensure timely billing

• Performs shipping and receiving tasks as required for inbound / outbound customer repairs and trade show demonstration equipment

• Communicates with Customers to schedule installation, repair and/or preventive maintenance work and estimated time of arrival for unscheduled work

• Responds to routine Customer and sales questions regarding equipment operation and performance

• Responds to technical questions from Customers and internally

• Participates in trade shows as required

Experience

3 + Years of direct work experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Engineering or related field, other combinations of education and experience may be considered

• Respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service
