JOB SUMMARY


The Tulsa Outreach Representative works with the Professional and Graduate Studies (PGS) Enrollment, Marketing, and Operations (EMO) team to generate leads. This role will establish and develop recruitment contacts and relationships with organizations throughout the Tulsa SNU footprint. These relationships are specifically to develop potential students (leads) for SNU PGS at the Tulsa campus.


NOTE: Office and resource material space is provided in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa area travel and travel to locations in Northeastern Oklahoma will be required most days per week. Occasional evening and weekend travel to and participation in events is required.


RESPONSIBILITIES



Essential Functions:



  • Ignite excitement about SNU-Tulsa's brand and program offerings; rebuild face-to-face enrollment so that scheduled in-person PGS Tulsa groups start on time with a minimum of 12 learners in each degree program cohort and at least 5 learners in each General Education course offering.

  • Coordinate recruitment events and register for, attend, and maintain exhibit space at education, benefit, career, transfer, et.al. fairs and conferences within the Tulsa metropolitan area and northeastern Oklahoma.

  • Participate in Tulsa Community College (TCC) Transfer Center activities including in-person and online Information sessions a minimum of once per month; become a consistent presence at the TCC Transfer Center and at each of the four TCC campus advising centers; build rapport with staff, faculty, advisors, learners at TCC campuses.

  • Participate in appropriate Tulsa Higher Education (THE) Consortium events and Community of Practice.

  • Participate in Community College events of the Muscogee Nation (CCMN), Oklahoma State UniversityIT (OSUIT), Northeastern Oklahoma College (NEO), Connors State College, and other NE Oklahoma higher education institutions. (college fairs, booths, etc).

  • Schedule a minimum of an average of two (2) events per year week to generate leads, such as: Creating innovative relationship-building techniques, staffing information/recruitment tables, conducting information meetings, attending networking events, and having a least two 1 on 1 prospective learner appointments.

  • Investigate and develop corporate partnerships/relationships for lead generations focusing on organizations offering employee tuition assistance programs (TAP).

  • Develop relationships with organizations' influencers and decision makers and establish SNU-Tulsa as a major provider of education programs to their associates.

  • Strengthen relationships with Cherokee Nation, Muscogee Nation, Osage Nation, and other tribal education entities.

  • Achieve goals set by the leadership team (# leads per week, # apps per week, # starts per month).

  • Collect prospective student contact information and details and submit them promptly through SNU's systematic process so Enrollment Counselors (ECs) may facilitate their enrollment.

  • Work with the Outreach Coordinator to develop and implement a lead-generating activity assessment system and continuously monitor and adjust to meet established goals.



  • Activate SNU-Tulsa's existing in-person Concurrent Program, driving awareness and enrollment. Assist in developing captivating presentations, engaging directly with families, and collaborating with faith-based high schools, charter schools, home school associations, and other Tulsa-area school personnel to build this ready-to-go program.

  • Plan, conduct, and assess onsite and virtual presentations and information meetings in collaboration with the SNU-Tulsa Director and staff.



  • Coordinate with EMO, PGS program directors, and SNU-Tulsa Director to maximize marketing efforts.

  • Work with PGS Marketing to develop a communication plan that may include pre-event and post-event nurturing efforts, initial outreach, and follow-up.

  • Assist marketing team in developing material for recruiting and lead generation.

  • Edit and proofread marketing documents, letters, presentations, etc. that are outreach/event-focused.

  • Exhibit comfort with technological tools, mobile applications, and software programs and with actively working in a variety of settings.

  • Be capable of lifting items over 25 pounds, walking long distances, going up and down stairs, moving/setting up recruitment furniture and accessories, stretching to reach high items, bending to reach low items, and has a reliable vehicle.

  • Desire to work in an out-of-office setting

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to provide quality customer service

  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • An understanding of the importance of diversity, inclusion, and equity.

  • Associate's Degree

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or relevant training.

  • Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Grammar and spelling competency.

  • Experience with various computer software and mobile applications.

  • Data entry experience.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience in higher education



Supervision Received:


Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
