This position, which may vary depending on the specific job assignment, perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, process and shipment of product utilizing Material Handling Equipment (Reach Truck, Order Picker, Stand Up forklift, etc.) while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance and behavioral Bose Corporation expectations.

Effectively and efficiently uses stablished procedures, equipment and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Distribution Center.

Safely retrieve product from storage locations on daily basis

Complies with Bose's policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Pick product from storage using order filling equipment.

Put product away from receiving to storage locations using reach truck or forklift equipment.

Ensure accurate picking / put away product.

Ensure accurate shipping and packing quality when processing.

Learn to be proficient in all put away and processing functions.

May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.

Informs supervisor or Lead of any problems and actively participates in process improvements.

Assist in other areas of the Distribution Center as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Education/Certification High School or General Education diploma or 3 years related verifiable warehouse experience.

  • Previous forkliftexperience may be required.

  • Able to lift, up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.

  • Able and willing to work overtime when required.

  • Able stand for extended periods of time

  • Able to perform repetitive motions using wrist, hands, and fingers.

  • Able to communicate in English, reading, speaking, understanding.
