Job Description:

Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, -

Hourly Rate: $0.00 an hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must follow all JSA, GMP, PPE and Lockout/Tagout regulations




• Maintain operational functions of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring Safety and Quality




• Must be able to work from various heights on scaffolding, mechanical lifts, and ladders as a last resort




• Follow plant safety and environmental regulatory compliance




• Support delivery of brand quality and customer satisfaction




• Must be able to obtain and sustain a forklift license




• Must demonstrate excellent motivation, attitude, desire and performance in correcting machine failures, preventative maintenance and in developing working relationships with fellow employees and supervision




• Prior experience should include strong mechanical background, working knowledge of electrical motors and industrial electrical controls, including design, wiring, and troubleshooting of advanced motor control and safety circuits




• Must be proficient with variable frequency drives and troubleshooting




• Must be able to read, interpret and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals




• Ability to analyze data and information, and to make effective and timely decisions




• Ability to work with others to identify opportunities for improving machinery and maintenance systems




• Ability to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency




• Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, department manager, or plant leadership

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with PLC systems highly preferred




• Welding and fabrication skills a plus




• Knowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration systems and PSM programs a plus




• Certificate in Electro-Mechanical Technology or Mechatronics a plus.
