Position Summary:

Provides outreach and/or lay health education to members of the project target community.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Conduct comprehensive searches in relevant databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar to identify articles related to traffic crash risk factors and mass media campaigns.

Screen titles and abstracts against inclusion criteria to determine their relevance to the systematic reviews.

Download and organize full-text articles approved for review.

Use standardized data extraction forms to collect important information from each article, including study design, population, intervention details, outcomes, and key findings.

Evaluate the quality of selected studies using appropriate assessment tools.

Manage and organize references using reference management software.

Participate in regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for effective completion of the reviews.

Certification/Skills:

Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; but not required.

Minimum Experience:

None.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
