Who we are looking for

The Office of the CISO (PMO) within Global Cybersecurity (GCS) is responsible for managing key programs and ensuring that the GCS organization is equipped with the governance framework and tools to deliver GCS initiatives in a timely and effective manner. The PMO will be primarily responsible for managing key programs, engaging multiple stakeholders within and outside GCS, track programs through completion and escalate matters requiring attention. The PMO will also be designing and implementing a standard governance framework that follows industry best practices of program and project management across all GCS functions. It will establish the target operating and interaction model for all project managers in GCS, provide skills and training, manage knowledge and provide independent assurance. The PMO will also standardize the portfolio-related governance processes and facilitate the sharing of resources, methodologies, tools, and techniques across GCS, as well as develop performance metrics and a methodology to report on these metrics to senior leadership.

What you will be responsible for

As Head of GCS Program Management you will


  • Responsible for overall program management of large programs and projects

  • Overseeing GCS Portfolio of work & deliverables in support of GCS strategy

  • Define and implement project management standards for the GCS organization and standardize portfolio related governance and monitoring processes, in alignment with Global Technology Services (GTS)

  • Timely escalation and reporting of project/program status to Executive Management and various management and risk committees

  • Leading a team of Project Managers

  • Initiate and manage highly collaborative cross functional relationships with GCS functional teams and related functions such as GTS, Finance, Procurement, Risk and others to optimize shared processes and meet stakeholder requirements

  • Represent the GCS portfolio to senior audiences in governance, committee and other forums

  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes, including effective utilization of current tools as well as identification of additional tools to enhance processes

  • Hands-on Program management experience

  • Handling complex projects and program implementation in a large organization

  • Prior experience building a PMO and managing a staff in a PMO setting

  • Experience with executive leadership communications and reporting

  • Ability to present changes to operating model to large audiences of diverse stakeholders

  • Comfortable managing stakeholders in a matrixed, cross functional organization

  • Experience managing Cyber Security projects


Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science

  • PMP Certification

  • Strong program management background with minimum 10 years' experience in managing complex initiatives

  • Experience in problem solving within fast paced and constantly changing environments

  • Experience in technology/cybersecurity will be a plus

  • Financial Services experience preferred

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred
