We are looking for a dynamic Nurse Unit Manager (LPN) who is a leader with supervisory experience and who is passionate about the team's success and easily builds and maintains positive relationships with peers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LTC Skilled Nursing and has demonstrated leadership abilities. In addition to overseeing the activities of nursing staff, the Unit Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Successful Unit Manager candidates will have the following:


  • Nursing Degree from an accredited College/University

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in South Carolina

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years progressive supervisory/managerial experience in SNF is preferred

  • Current CPR certification

  • Experience with PCC preferred

  • Must maintain all required continuing education/ licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

The primary purpose of your job position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.
