The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their knowledge in the following areas: 1) General ledger accounting 2) Month end closing and financial report preparation 3) Internal control processes 4) Problem solving and root cause analysis 5) Generally accepted accounting principles 6) Sarbanes-Oxley.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
