Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Perform monthly Scale Checking account bank reconciliations for assigned Divisions.
- Perform monthly ATM & safe cash reconciliations for assigned Divisions.
- Perform monthly lockbox (concentration account)/cash receipts reconciliations for assigned Divisions.
- Monitor ATM cash usage for assigned Divisions, and work with Brinks to adjust standing orders as needed.
- Work with Brinks to resolve vault cash balance differences and address delivery issues.
- Primary responsibility for CRM new supplier approval, and review/creation of supplier alternate payment addresses.
- Match/enter mill weights for assigned Divisions. Review accounts receivable and follow up on missing mill weights and payments.
- Apply cash to open AR.
- Work with The David J Joseph Company IT department directly to resolve Brokerage and Metals Group interface issues.
- Primary responsibility for handling Helpdesksupport tickets assigned to the group.
- Work with Division personnel to address issues with: Security/access, shipment reversals, payment & ticket voids, freight issues.
- Work directly with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire and aptitude for promotion, including relocation
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI
- CPAand/or Advanced Business degree
- Manufacturing or Public Accounting experience
