Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
Perform monthly Scale Checking account bank reconciliations for assigned Divisions.
Perform monthly ATM & safe cash reconciliations for assigned Divisions.
Perform monthly lockbox (concentration account)/cash receipts reconciliations for assigned Divisions.
Monitor ATM cash usage for assigned Divisions, and work with Brinks to adjust standing orders as needed.
Work with Brinks to resolve vault cash balance differences and address delivery issues.
Primary responsibility for CRM new supplier approval, and review/creation of supplier alternate payment addresses.
Match/enter mill weights for assigned Divisions. Review accounts receivable and follow up on missing mill weights and payments.
Apply cash to open AR.
Work with The David J Joseph Company IT department directly to resolve Brokerage and Metals Group interface issues.
Primary responsibility for handling Helpdesksupport tickets assigned to the group.
Work with Division personnel to address issues with: Security/access, shipment reversals, payment & ticket voids, freight issues.
Work directly with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Preferred Qualifications:
Desire and aptitude for promotion, including relocation
Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI
CPAand/or Advanced Business degree
Manufacturing or Public Accounting experience
