Job Description
We are looking for a Automation Test Lead to join our forward-thinking team. This position is a fully remote, full-time 12 month+ contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of automation strategies to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will play a critical role in building proof of concepts, managing CI/CD pipelines, and utilizing advanced testing tools such as Tricentis, Smartbear, Test Rail and Test Rigor. Your leadership will ensure seamless test integration and effective use of project management tools like Jira and Rally, while overseeing test management processes.
What You'll Do
Lead the automation testing team in the development and execution of test plans
Design and build proof of concepts to demonstrate the potential of automation strategies
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of software
Utilize Tricentis testing tools to create, execute, and manage automated test cases
Integrate automated tests with existing test frameworks and ensure they align with the software development lifecycle
Manage test environments, test data, and test result reporting
Utilize Jira and Rally for defect tracking, issue resolution, and project management
Oversee the test management process, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with industry standards
Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
What You'll Need
Required:
10+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation
Proven experience leading a testing team and delivering high-quality software
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and best practices
Expertise in using Tricentis testing tools for automation
Proficiency in test integration and managing complex testing frameworks
Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Rally
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred:
Certifications in test automation tools and methodologies
Experience with test management software and techniques
Prior remote work experience and the ability to manage distributed teams effectively

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
