The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the installation and management of IT infrastructure throughout the construction of a new manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, preferably with a background in IT infrastructure construction. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, timely, and high-quality IT solutions that meet the needs of the project.
Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management: Lead the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure installation across the project site, ensuring that all systems are installed and configured according to project requirements.
Cost, Schedule, and Quality Assurance: Oversee all aspects of the IT infrastructure installation to ensure that cost, schedule, and quality requirements are met. This includes developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and quality control measures.
Collaboration with NN IT/OT: Work closely with NN IT/OT (Information Technology/Operational Technology) teams to ensure the delivery of required services and integration of IT systems with existing infrastructure.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and facilitate decision-making processes.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT infrastructure installation, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Documentation and Reporting: Ensure that all IT infrastructure installation activities are properly documented and reported, including project status updates, milestone achievements, and any deviations from planned objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in project management, preferably with a focus on IT infrastructure construction.
Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and infrastructure components.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
