The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Project Manager (PM) to support various assignments related to the installation of Clean and Underground Utilities within the manufacturing facility. This role is suitable for an individual with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines, who is eager to gain practical experience in facility management within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support PM Assignments: Assist the Project Manager in various tasks related to the planning, coordination, and execution of Clean and Underground Utilities installations.
  • Assignment Execution: Execute assignments given by the Project Manager efficiently and effectively, ensuring that tasks are completed according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities related to Clean and Underground Utilities installations, ensuring smooth progress of the construction process.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of project activities, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality checks and inspections to ensure that Clean and Underground Utilities installations meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Project Manager and other project team members, providing regular updates on assignment progress and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, or related field (preferred).
  • Some experience or coursework in MEP disciplines is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus.
