Role Summary:
Barrington James are working with a global medical device company who are specialized in producing revolutionary products that positively impact millions of patients on a daily basis.
Due to record growth throughout 2023, they are now looking to add a 2 Firmware Engineers to their high performing technical team in California.
Specifically, the role will involve responsibility for designing and implementing embedded firmware for Cardiac products. The position will be a hands-on one with the individual capable of creative and systematic product development.
You will be working closely with business owners to identify & understand business needs and translates these into effective solutions that are aligned with the technology roadmap and strategic direction of the team.
Requirements for Consideration:
Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Science or related engineering or scientific field. 8 years relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or 6 years with MS degree.Minimum 5 years of experience (such as software design, coding and/or testing) in applications programming and/or software development of embedded systems for safety critical products. As there are many aspects of software development (such as design, coding and/or testing), specific required experience depends on nature of responsibilities.Minimum 5 years of experience in applications programming and/or software development of embedded systems for safety critical products.
