Job Description:

The Physical Nutritional Management Plan Coordinator (PNMPC) works under the general supervision of the Habilitation Therapy Director or other designated staff based upon the needs of the State Supported Living Center (SSLC). The PNMP Coordinator provides oversight and guidance to services delivered to individuals by direct care staff in the areas of physical and nutritional management, oral and enteral eating, positioning, mobility, communication, and other related PNMP services. Conducts competency-based training of staff and mentors new staff. Monitors therapeutic activities, communicating problems and recommendation for improvement to Habilitation Therapy staff. Monitors the availability, condition, and proper use of assistive equipment and ensures appropriate availability and condition of PNMPC instructions and illustrations.

Salary Range: $3,649.83 - $4,115.66

Registration or Licensure Requirements:
Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain it no later than 90 days after hire date, is preferred. Applicants with an out-of-state driver’s license must provide an original certified driving record from the state of driving licensure. Eligible driving record required based on HHSC Fleet Management policy.

Initial Selection Criteria:
Experience in direct care work.
Experience in working with people who have developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred.
Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
Experience in writing reports preferred.
