What you will do:
Maintain a work environment that meets facility environmental, safety, and sanitation standards.
Select products for outbound orders.
Receive product (bulk and packaged) for inbound orders
Load and unload trucks
Operate forklifts for unloading/loading trucks and chemical blending
Perform preventative maintenance and participate in general upkeep of production equipment
Maintain daily logs and record plant operating data
Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers
Collecting raw materials
Packaging chemicals in pails, drums, and tote
Performs other duties as assigned or needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
One to three years related experience and/or training
Be qualified in forklift and crane operation
Be open to having flexible work hours including weekends and overtime,
Maintain regular attendance requirements
Ability to make decisions, set priorities, remain self-motivated and motivate others in the absence of direct oversight.
Honest, trustworthy, and trusting, delivers on commitments.
Strong sense of urgency
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Physical Demands
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
