Roles:
  • Research competition, and marketplace strategies to identify trends, category performance, competitive threats and opportunities to support business decisions.
  • Analyze business regularly to identify opportunities, provide recommendations on a line architecture to support key business decisions and maximize sales, profitability and inventory and mitigate risk.
  • Research and analyze system data to create valuable reports, dashboards, and actionable insights including sales, SKU count, efficiency, margin and channel alignment.
  • Merchandise product assortments according to brand metrics on a seasonal basis
  • Create visually engaging product assortments taking data and trend into account
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of the master line sheet. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the line sheet by regularly updating product information to maintain product line.
  • Take ownership of the costing process, working closely with suppliers/our factory to ensure product pricing aligns with budgetary constraints and profitability targets

Objectives:
  • Q2 2024 - Assessment of current margin & profitability models with our current brands
  • Q3 2024 - Assortment Planning for at least one of our brands SPSU26 seasons
  • Q4 2024 - End of year assortment performance assessment across all brands
  • Q1 2025 - Market analysis and assortment planning for at least one of our brands

Experience, Skills:
  • Strength in analyzing data or information - can identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts in a clear and concise manner
  • 2-4 year's Experience in merchandising
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle shifting priorities

Requirements
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with confidential information of a privately held company
  • Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of staff and management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • B.S. in related field of study
  • 2-4 years experience
