Job Description:

Position Summary:

This position is accountable for providing quality customer service by interacting with customers, company sales representatives and account managers to handle a variety of pre-sales and through post-sales service functions through SAP and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Stimulating and guiding of less complex world class customer service processes through SAP. Operates relatively autonomous within procedures, methods and technique.

  • Ensures quality processing of orders into SAP error free (EDI Release portal fax email priced correctly with adequate lead-time for warehouse to prepare orders for shipment and maintains timely communication to customers regarding order status and shipment issues

  • Ensures that various types of customer order problems (i.e., pricing, shipping, customer penalties, sales and customer inquiries and product availability) are promptly and successfully solved by working with Sales, Finance. Planning and Logistics. Understands the cost responsibility of his or her decisions on the company's profit goals.

  • Responsible to stay current with company products in order to understand the customers' needs and ensure them quality service.

  • Responsible to ensure all orders and related activities (customer setup and guidelines, RMAs, etc.) are interpreted, handled and delivered promptly and correctly. It is the responsibility of the customer service representative to bring to a management level all customer situations for final approval or resolution that are outside the normal order processing requirements and related activities.

Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of Customer Service experience from automotive industry who understands automotive aftermarket customers/automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills; demonstrated decision making ability; teamwork skills; organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel arid various other PC Application experience.
  • Intermediate SAP experience needed.

Pay Range:

$52,400 - $74,800 per year
