Akkodis is seeking a Office Assistant for a long-term position with a client:

  • Position: Office Assistant (Day One Onsite)
  • Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr (DOE)
  • Visa - GC/USC Only
  • Location: Ames, IA (Day One Onsite)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience and Education:

Responsibilities:
  • The position will involve a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to word processing, document formatting, large document production, record retention, filing, and proofreading.
  • The position also includes front desk reception responsibilities.
  • You will answer the phone, greet visitors, prepare labels and envelopes for daily outgoing mail, operate the postage machine, complete certified and express mail, and arrange for courier services.

Required Skills:
  • MS Office products.
  • Data entry.
  • Customer Service Skills.
  • Organized and ambitious.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, primarily Word, is necessary. Other programs such as Access, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat may also be used.
