The Construction Project Lead directly oversees miscellaneous construction and signage projects within the Marshalls, TJX Maxx, HomeGoods, Homesense and Sierra chains. Aids in project schedules and assigning General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors. Distributes all required project documents to external and internal contacts. Negotiates pricing, reviews and approves proposals and invoices, tracks progress and ensures close-outs for all construction and signage initiatives. Supplies TJX Field Organization and Management updates detailing all construction and signage initiatives on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
Create Construction contract preparation memos and DocuSigns.
Ensure Sign Vendors adhere to contract pricing and specifications.
Track and adhere to budgets, review, and approve proposals and invoices.
Award miscellaneous construction projects to General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors.
Initiates communication and facilitates remote kick-off meetings for applicable project types.
Responsible for adjusting Contractor schedule strategies to ensure timely completion of projects and cost-effective execution methods.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
3+ years in Construction, Facilities, Store Planning, Fixturing, Architectural Design, or related construction trades is preferred.
Strong organization and project planning skills are necessary.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
Highly self-motivated, works well in a team environment.
Understanding and ability to read blueprints, specifically Floor Plans, Elevations, and Site Plans.
Strong knowledge of store layouts, HVAC, electrical and plumbing criteria would be desired.
Experience working on complex projects is good to have.
Retail experience is preferred.
General fixturing, and retail store planning knowledge is a plus.
Ability to decipher landlord and city codes as it relates to exterior signs.
Adept in Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word. Lucernex and Service Channel experience a plus.

This position has a starting salary range of $72,100 to $91,800 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications and experience.
