Location: Dallas, Texas - Hybrid

Duration: 8 month contract with likely extension

Title: Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities:

This is a new role being created and will evolve, but initial responsibilities will include:
• Project Planning and Execution

o Proven experience leading RFI, RFP vendor processes and all related deliverables to resolution

o Lead Initiation, Planning, Execution and Close phases of projects

o Ensure robust project planning, including working with sr. leadership (VP level) and cross functional teams to assess project options and scenarios, and develop mitigation plans

o Plan, control, and execute project scope following the companies IT PMO Excellence prescribed processes and guidelines (PMBOK)

o Provide leadership, coordination, and cross-functional communication to ensure achievement of project goals and timelines
• Communication and Stakeholder Management

o Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive conflict resolution

o Responsible for preparing and managing the project Communication Plan and leading communications with key stakeholders as well as broader group of stakeholders beyond the program team

o Provide primary programmatic support not only to large stakeholder community but also support and collaborate with Business leads and other department program & project managers

o Ensure Steering Committee and stakeholders remain informed of project progress and any risks that may affect project outcomes

o Ensure stakeholders understand the impact of changes introduced by the project

o Present to program steering committees making detailed, prioritized recommendations, facilitating discussions, and driving decision making
• Risk Management

o Responsible for preparing and managing the project Risk Management Plan

o Managing project level risks and issues, taking corrective actions, and raising awareness at Program and Portfolio level

o Developing regular risk assessments and risk mitigations plans

o Timely escalation and resolution of complex issues
• Resource and Budget Management

o Forecast and track project budget and resource requirements

o Work with the Portfolio Manager to ensure program initiatives are correctly resourced and funded

o Work with the portfolio manager to resolve resource conflicts and budget mismatches
• Management Reporting

o Project level management reporting, including milestone tracking, forecasts, risks, issues, and overall project RAG status
• Benefits Management

o Ensure Project Business case exists and is maintained throughout the project

o Escalate risks and issues that may affect the viability of the business case

o Ensure the project remains aligned to deliver outcomes that will support benefits realization

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience is required
• A Bachelor or Master's STEM Degree; Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field preferred
• Project Management qualifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified) etc preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading successful large, complex, high-value strategic and departmental IT change initiatives, preferably in large, multi-national organizations.
• Expertise in one or more project management Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated Finance, Legal Operations and business acumen obtained from previous experience of project and programs
• Demonstrated experience delivering Corporate ERP initiatives, Oracle Cloud preferred
• Proactive mindset, can adapt easily to a changing environment, excellent in time management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, including experience managing statistical and financial data
• Strong EQ, leadership, and management skills
• Practical and hands-on approach to delivering outcomes
• Ability to form and maintaining solid working relationship at all levels of the organization
• Great communication and cross-team collaboration skills
