Global private equity firm is seeking a dynamic accounting professional to add to their team. This Controller will spearhead the accounting, reporting, controls, and strategy for a new division within the company. We are targeting candidates with a CPA and 7-12 years of experience within investment and/or fund accounting. Public accounting (preferably Big 4) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities Include
Lead accounting oversight for designated funds
Act as a liaison and business partner to multiple other business segments
Manage SEC reporting (10K's, 10Q's)
Analyze financials and present to senior leadership
Ensure internal controls are in compliance with company and industry standards
Strategize on growth and market objectives
Other ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
CPA
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
7-12 years of experience within fund and/or investment accounting
Strong SEC and GAAP experience
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
