This team works hybrid with 3 days in the suburban office per week and two days remote.
Responsibilities
Prepares and files state income tax and municipal returns for assigned entities.
Prepares state income tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
Prepares sales & use returns including monthly analysis and reconciliation of sales/use tax accounts.
Prepares annual premium and tax filings and estimated quarterly payments for various states.
Prepares and reconciles quarterly tax depreciation schedules for assigned entity.
Conducts tax research and recommends appropriate tax treatment; assists with federal and state audits and notices.
Responsible for account reconciliations and preparing journal entries for assigned entities.
Works independently and ensures all work is completed
Qualifications
2+ years' of professional tax experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
