Salary: $90-130,000 (or higher/negotiable based on experience)
Summary:
The Low Voltage Estimator will be in charge of assisting with all forms of low voltage, voice/data, AV, or Security builds. Including site walks, pricing, bidding process, and associated close out documentation for commercial projects around DMV area. RCDD or other relevant Low voltage industry certifications preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Manage all contract documents and processes - from inception through close-out. This includes, but is not limited to:
Contract and subcontract review and execution
Change orders and contract modifications
Cost tracking
Contract reports
Development and negotiations for contracts and subcontracts
Small business subcontracting
Negotiating terms and conditions with customers and suppliers
Compliance with contract terms and applicable regulations
Close-outs for contracts and individual task orders
Support acquisition and proposal efforts
Duties will include:
RFP/RFQ analysis
NDA, Prequal, Teaming, joint venture, MOU review and execution
Acquisition strategy support
Pricing reviews
Compliance reviews
Market research to identify potential sources
Preparing and posting solicitations to subcontractors and/or suppliers
Evaluating submitted proposals/quotes from subcontractors and/or suppliers
Education and Experience:
5+ years' experience in all aspects of construction contracting and administration
5+ years' experience in all aspects of government contracting and administration
BA/BS degree desirable, preferably in Business Administration
Experience with all contract types (FFP, T&M, cost-plus)
Experience with Open Market contracts and acquisitions
Experience with Federal Government IDIQ contracts and GSA Schedule contracts
Thorough knowledge of FAR, DFARS CAS, and agency FAR supplements
Experience performing independent reviews of procurements to ascertain regulatory requirements and level of compliance risk and other risks
Customer service skills, with dual goals of managing business risks while preserving and enhancing customer and supplier relationships
