We are representing an industry leading Fortune 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking an FP&A Manager/Controller due a recently announced promotion. The Director of Finance/Controller will report to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Candidate will report to the Site Director of Finance and will have a strong working relationship with the Divisional CFO.
Responsible for department of 4 direct employees over a 1,000+ employee vertically integrated campus with annualized revenues of $1B
Candidate will have accountability over the Cost, FP&A, and Reporting function
Review and analyze plant inventory transactions
Responsible for leading month end close process
Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures
Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)
Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based experience to demonstrate a solid "cost" background (BOM, absorption/inventory levels, variance analysis)
Experience leading month end close process
Targeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource")
