Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Administer, file, manage, and maintain payroll information for assigned segments of the business
- Process regular and supplemental payrolls
- Review and provide support for online timesheets
- Research and execute all wage garnishments, verification of employment requests, support orders, and unemployment requests
- Maintain accurate records of expense reimbursements processed through payroll
- Manage, maintain, and enter accurate journal entries for payroll
- Transmit transactions to the 401K plan including employee deferrals, employer matches, and employee loan repayments every pay
- Transmit all monies to HSA accounts for both employee and employer contributions
- Train and assist managers on proper payroll administration and different
- Train and assist employees on the system
- Prepare payroll reports and census data as requested
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related fields, Bachelor degree preferred
- Experience with processing union payrolls
- Experience with multi-state payroll cycles as well as multi company payroll cycles
- Experience with certified payroll
- Experience with benefit deductions, wage garnishments, child support payments
- Proficiency in Excel
- Payroll/HRIS Software Experience 2+ years
- Proficiency with computers
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze information and processes
- Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation
