Responsibilities • Perform detailed examination and analysis of financial records to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements • Assist in the planning and execution of financial audits for clients • Conduct substantive testing of financial transactions and account balances • Prepare income tax returns for business and individual clients • Collaborate with team members to deliver quality client service • Stay updated on accounting standards and income tax matters
Requirements
Minimum • Bachelor's degree in accounting • 3+ years of public accounting experience with a blend of audit, financial statement and tax work • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Preferred • CPA certification or actively working towards obtaining certification • Work on-site, possibly hybrid • Experience using CCH suite of Accounting and Tax software
