Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Senior Public Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our tax department, providing expertise in tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for our clients. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure adherence to tax regulations and optimize financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Tax Planning: Develop comprehensive tax strategies tailored to individual client needs, maximizing tax efficiency and minimizing liabilities.
  2. Tax Compliance: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance on tax-related matters, including potential risks and opportunities.
  4. Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, conducting thorough research and analysis to assess their impact on clients and recommend appropriate actions.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including financial analysts and auditors, to provide integrated solutions and support client needs effectively.
  6. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax services.
  • Thorough understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial management tools (e.g., QuickBooks, TurboTax, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
