Job Description:
Position: DRAFTER 1 and 2
Openings: 4
Duration: 3 year contract (with possible extension/conversion)
Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm
Location: Marinette Wisconsin
PR: $17.20/hr + $4.57 fringe
Must Haves
- 2 Years of experience OR an associate degree
- Auto Cad, 2D design, 3D designs for foundations/structures (does not have to be ship related-can be home structures)
- Proficient with using AutoCAD
Plusses- Experience using Navis, MS Excel, Bluebeam/Power PDF, Ship Constructor
- Ship building or marine background Day to day
- Supporting a large shipbuilding contract
- Sitting on the detail design team that is responsible for updating models and issuing changes.
- Taking a 3D model and extracting it to 2D that is then sent to manufacturing.
- These models will be structural pieces of the ship (ceiling, stiffener plates)
- Assisting with drawing revisions and updates
- This is all done in AutoCAD and Ship Constructor
