Founded in 2010, OTS is a pre-owned semi-truck dealership that purchases, reconditions, and sells across the nation. Responsible for over 1,000+ truck sales each year, OTS's humble beginnings have morphed from a single sales facility in Ohio to now hosting a second location in Rhome, Texas!
The General Manager will function as a strategic partner to the executive team of the organization. This individual will be responsible for directing the Sales & Service function - will be responsible for building an annual strategic Sales & Service operating plan, department systems & processes, Sales training, performance management & leadership development.
The incumbent will serve in an advisory capacity to the CEO and management team on organization-wide issues.
Planning & Development:
Develop a comprehensive Sales & Service strategy and implementation plan that will allow the organization to meet and exceed annual sales goals
Develop and implement performance processes, systems, dashboards; including performance improvement & coaching
Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
Operations:
As a business leader, be an active participant on the management team and participate in Sales & Service planning
Supervise Sales & Technical professionals
Identify Sales & Service training and education needs, develop, and implement plans, programs, and processes to meet those needs and consistently monitor the effectiveness of these programs
Handle all employee and customer relations issues - find resolutions that are customer focused and balance the needs of the individual employee and the organization
Required Education, Skills & Abilities
At least five years of progressive Sales Management experience in small to midsize companies
Excellent proficiency with CRM packages and systems
