The role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Development Manager to join our team.
The Program Development Manager is to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive 3PL Agent Program for 3PL owners.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing others and a strong background in business development, training, marketing, and sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
Program Development: Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of strategic programs to address key challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities in the freight forwarding sector.
Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities for innovation and expansion.
Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and workflows, and develop and implement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic partnerships with industry players, technology providers, and other relevant stakeholders to leverage complementary strengths and drive mutual business growth.
Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of program initiatives, and regularly monitor and evaluate performance against targets.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to cross-functional teams involved in program development and implementation, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for program initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, business development, or strategic planning within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives on time and within budget.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve shared objectives.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
