SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Service Line Manager for the Extended Care Facilities Service Line, directs and coordinates new and ongoing specialty projects and activities in the implementation and monitoring of clinical program and organizational initiative and innovations such as population health, ACOs and total medical expense management. Operational coordination includes support for programs achievement with patient experience, quality and operational performance metrics as well as supporting a culture of continuous performance improvement management. Financial coordination includes support for program specific metrics and meeting budget expectations. Collaborates regularly with clinical Chiefs and Executive Director to ensure that program operations appropriately support the service line and stand for high quality delivery of patient care. Position will be 50% remote and 50% traveling to SNFs in Eastern MA. This is not a clinical position.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, public health or equivalent training (or equivalent education, training or experience) required. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

At least 10 years of progressively responsible management experience in planning, development, financial analysis and operations management required. Requires strong operational skills including experience with clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility or acute rehab hospital setting. Requires an in depth knowledge of planning and system and tools. . Requires an in depth knowledge of planning and systems and tools, and operations management.

SKILLS

Must possess strong analytic, project management, interpersonal and communication skills, and an excellent track record of achieving positive results in a rapidly changing environment. Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience strongly preferred.
