We are leading mental health organization dedicated to providing high-quality trauma therapy services to victims of power-based violence. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma Therapist to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Trauma Therapist will provide trauma therapy services to 20-24 clients, reporting directly to the Clinical Director. The role involves a mix of in-person and virtual sessions, with the option to provide evening hours to accommodate client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide trauma therapy services to victims of power-based violence.
Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions.
Maintain a caseload of 20-24 clients, with a duration of 6 months per client.
Collaborate with the intake coordinator for scheduling appointments.
Refer clients to long-term therapy services when necessary.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Flexibility to accommodate afternoon/evening hours if desired
Qualifications:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) required.
Experience in trauma therapy is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
