Data Integrity Analyst at Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace in Melville, New York

Job Description:

Our Corporate Offices located in Melville, NY is actively seeking a FT Data Integrity Analyst to join our busy team! This position will be responsible for ensuring pricing integrity in the registers and throughout the entire store. This individual will implement and coordinate all price changes while ensuring the accuracy of all pricing, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Data analysis clean-up projects by department; analyzing and understanding item relationships to consolidate data, identifying duplicate item records and combine records to determine most accurate and relevant data.Prepare reports as neededAccurately complete all weekly price changes transmitted to the store file from Uncle Giuseppes to include both checking for and correcting any discrepanciesMaintain the accuracy of the pricing file to match weekly sales, circulars and/or newspaper adsHandles not-on-file and price discrepancies as top priorityVerifies that each new and existing item has the proper attributes programmed for food stamps, taxes (if applicable) and department statusMaintains the mismatch items, price look-up codes (PLUs) and display exception priced itemsMaintains adequate and appropriate department records at all times. Updates pricing log changes weeklyAdheres to all local, state and federal guidelines and laws and comply with all safety policies and proceduresOther duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentPrior experience working in a retail environment with numbers and calculations is requiredMust be strong with math calculations and detailed with numbersMust be very detailed oriented, even tempered with a customer service focusWorking knowledge of computer programs, with proficiency in MS office Suite. Must be Proficient with spreadsheets and calculationsMust have a strong sense of motivation and urgency
