Job Description

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a QC Specialist to work in Hercules, CA. Please check out our company video that highlights our important work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following
:
The QC Specialist will perform basic activities necessary for assuring that studies are conducted in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), and approved protocols.
- Be familiar with pertinent study protocols, GLP's, SOP's and ensure adherence to them inone's own work as well as work received from other individuals
- Review raw data and calculations to verify accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GLP's, SOP's, and protocols
- Review reports, verifying their integrity, clarity, compliance to the protocols and GLP's
- Supports a scientific laboratory with administrative and complex tasks
- Other duties as required for the effective and efficient operation of the laboratory and company in general
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess
:
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications
:
- High school diploma; college degree or progress towards degree may be substituted
- 2+ years' clerical experience
- Scientific experience is desirable
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Hercules, CA are encouraged to apply.Compensation range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
